Innovative in artistic directions, multi-disciplinary, multi-instrumentalist – ZackieL’s signature style as a singer and songliner is rooted in his years of living, travelling and performing worldwide. He also creates as an events organiser and host, a musical facilitator for wellness retreats and gatherings, a music mentor and teacher, spoken word poet, writer and a field recordist studied in Ethnomusicology.

 
Cultural influences abound. ‘Global Soul’ and ‘Folkloric’ begin to describe the eclectic originality. There is soul, folk, jazz and hiphop in vocal influences; West African blues, rumba/flamenco, medicine musics, Middle Eastern and Indian classical styles and more in the all-encompassing inspirations of the musicality. Soaring, deeply soulful vocals entrance, whilst the messages between the lyrical lines have ever held true to the works of growth and transformations in self and the collective.
 

After 7 years of songwriting and performing professionally on stages around the world, honing the craft, ZackieL launched his long-awaited first single Wild|Wise in March, with an official art film | music video and the second single SOLACE arriving in May 2025, and all 5 tracks of SOLACE coming later in the year.
